New oil-seed and feed research
Feed cost is over 75% of the production cost of chicken. AgriDynamic is currently researching the value of new seed found in the wild in Bamessing to find out its nutritive value and digestibility.
We are proud to inform you that the first results are available, and if you would like to read them please click here.
When the rest will be known, the seed may offer a new possibility for rural farmers and livestock producers. We took the first step in December 2011 in which the amino acids were identified. Further digestibility testing and trail experiment are ongoing.
Given that most feed items are available locally, for farmers, it is not certain what quantity of which item will produce the best results. We have set up a complete unit where different formula or combinations are tested. Some of the interesting results will be available online soon. What we can already claim is that, farmers in the North West region of Cameroon should not depend any long on pre-mix in formulating their feed for broilers. Please visit our site soon to get the finally results. For more information contact Songwalang Awudu at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
